Red Dog Media’s AI Committee: Building Smarter, Together

The Advantage is You + AI

At Red Dog Media, our 2026 theme, The Advantage Is You + AI, is a call to action. It is a challenge for every teammate to lean into what’s possible when human intelligence meets artificial intelligence.

What does that actually look like in practice? Meet the AI Committee.

What is the AI Committee?

The AI Committee is one of the most exciting initiatives to come out of Red Dog Media Leadership this year, and it started with an open invitation.

Leadership opened the door to anyone in the company who wanted a seat at the table. Teammates applied, and with their applications came a challenge: describe your vision. Tell us how you want to use AI here. Tell us what you’d build, what you’d improve, and what you’d explore.

Leadership reviewed every application and selected a representative from each department to join the committee, bringing diverse perspectives, roles, and ideas from across the organization.

The result is a group that reflects the full breadth of what Red Dog Media does and what it could do.

What do they actually do?

The AI Committee meets weekly. Every session is a working conversation. The group digs into AI developments, shares how they’re integrating new tools into their day-to-day workflows, and pushes each other to think bigger about automation and efficiency.

The goal is to amplify our work. Using their own intelligence alongside AI, committee members are finding ways to build faster, produce better work, and unlock time for the things that actually move the needle.

It’s You + AI in action.

Cross-Departmental by Design

One of the most deliberate choices Leadership made was ensuring the committee spanned all departments. This is a company-wide initiative with voices from across the organization.

That cross-pollination matters. When a marketer, a developer, IT, a team lead, and a legal coordinator are all in the same room talking about AI, the ideas that come out of that room are different and better than what any single team would produce on its own.

The Portal: Your AI Guide

The committee doesn’t keep what they’re learning to themselves. They’ve built and maintain a shared portal, a central resource hub where the whole team can tap into what the committee is discovering.

Resources, news, tools, ideas, best and worst practices, tutorials, it’s all there. Think of it as the company’s living, breathing guide to working smarter with AI. Whether you’re just starting to explore what AI can do for your role or you’re already deep in experimentation, the portal is your starting point.

In Their Own Words

“The AI committee has been a fantastic experience… Everyone is deeply committed to staying on top of the constant wave of new tools and developments entering the AI space, which is no small task. Even more impressive is their dedication to turning all of that knowledge into something practical and valuable for the rest of the company.”

– Elias G., AI Committee Member

“Being on the AI Committee has been a rewarding and productive experience. Every day, I get to learn, apply, and experiment with the latest tools in AI, which has allowed me to expand my capabilities and effectiveness in tangible ways, like using Claude Code to build various workflow automations that I wouldn’t have been able to build otherwise. The collaboration aspect has been huge, too. I get to learn from others and help out where I can.

It’s great to see how a collective effort has quickly led to so much AI adoption throughout the company, and how many creative and novel solutions are coming out of all the various departments.”

– Paul J., Committee Member

Why This Matters

The gap between teams using AI and teams still debating it is widening fast. The AI Committee exists because Red Dog Media isn’t a company that waits to see how things shake out. We apply. We plan how to bring our ideas to life. We show up week after week and get to work.

We’re glad to have leadership that recognizes the importance of staying ahead of the curve and is willing to invest meaningful resources into exploring AI’s potential. This is a company that wants to lead, not follow.

The advantage isn’t the technology. It’s the people behind it.
