Nineteen years ago, Red Dog Media started with a simple idea: build a company where talented people could do exceptional work while enjoying where they work.
Today, that vision looks a little different from what it did in 2007.
We’re now more than 60 teammates strong. We’ve grown from a small startup into a thriving company with an incredible team and a culture that continues to evolve every year.
But if you ask us what we’re most proud of, it isn’t our size or the fancy perks we have. It’s the people.
Milestones that helped shape who we are
Growth doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through hundreds of small moments that eventually become part of a company’s story.
Here are a few of the milestones that helped define ours:
2020: Leveling up our home base
For years, Red Dog Media operated without a traditional office space. We were running a home-based business. That changed in 2020 when we got an office! Opening our office wasn’t just about having desks and conference rooms; it created a home base where we could invest in new and exciting perks to provide the ultimate employee experience.
Today, it’s where new teammates begin their journey, ideas come to life, and our culture is experienced every day.

2024: Our first company retreat in over decade
One of the most memorable chapters in our history came in 2024 when we held our first company retreat in over a decade. Teammates from across the company stepped away from their daily work to learn from each other, celebrate together, and invest in one another.
The retreat reminded us that culture is experienced, and the relationships between people are what drive the creativity and innovation that keep moving us forward. Without all of the heads and different perspectives coming together, we wouldn’t be where we are today. It strengthened relationships, created lasting memories, and reinforced something we’ve always believed: pouring into our people is one of the best investments we can make.

The traditions that bring us together
Culture isn’t built by a single event. It’s built through traditions that people look forward to every year.
Whether it’s our annual March Madness competition (that is a lot more serious than you would think), our summer and end-of-year company parties, or the countless conversations that happen at Team Time events and lunch hour, these moments help transform coworkers into teammates and teammates into friends. They’re reminders that while we work hard, we also make time to celebrate together.

The moments we’ll never forget
Every company has milestones. The best companies also have stories. Over the past 19 years, there have been countless moments that have become part of Red Dog Media’s history, moments that teammates still talk about years later.
Some of our favorites include…
- Popping a bottle of champagne after the company turned its first marketing profit – Every successful company has defining moments. This was one of ours. It was a celebration of taking a chance, believing in the vision, working tirelessly towards a goal, and seeing the first signs that it was becoming a reality.
- The first day, we generated meaningful gross profits, reaching a monumental financial milestone – It wasn’t about the number. It was a moment that represented years of hard work, innovation, and proof that what we were building was working.
- A holiday party at the Lion Habitat Ranch – Few companies can say they’ve celebrated the holidays with lion cubs. It’s one of those uniquely Red Dog Media memories that still gets brought up today.

- The day Elton John tickets went on sale – If you were here, you would know exactly what we’re talking about. One unforgettable day where excitement, controlled chaos, and teamwork collided in true Red Dog Media fashion.
- Summer parties at Bryce’s house – Good food, swimming, laughs, and time spent together outside the office. Some of the strongest relationships aren’t built during meetings and strategizing; they’re built over burgers, pool games, and conversations that have nothing to do with work.
Giving back has always mattered
Success means more when it’s shared. Since 2011, Red Dog Media has donated more than $483,000 to charitable organizations and causes that matter to our teammates and community. As we’ve grown, so has our ability to make a positive impact beyond our office walls.
The numbers tell one story
- More than 60 teammates
- A permanent headquarters
- Our first company retreat
- Annual traditions that continue to grow
- Nearly half a million dollars donated to our community
The real story is about the people who show up every day with curiosity, solve difficult problems, support one another, and continue finding ways to be better than yesterday. Those are the moments that have defined the last 19 years and have kept us moving forward and constantly innovating.

Looking ahead
Nineteen years is an incredible milestone, but we’re even more excited about what’s next. We’ll continue investing in our people, challenging ourselves to improve, and building a company where great people can do meaningful work, build lasting careers, and enjoy the journey.
To every teammate, past and present, thank you for helping shape Red Dog Media into the Last Place You’d Want to Work. Here’s to the next chapter.
