When Han joined Red Dog Media three years ago, she brought a strong foundation in strategy and data-driven problem-solving from her time as a consultant in Korea. But more importantly, she brought curiosity, ownership, and a desire to build.
Why Red Dog Media?
What initially drew her to us was the entrepreneurial environment. Red Dog Media is a place where performance matters, ideas move quickly, and individuals are trusted to lead. She saw an opportunity to work closely with data while also having the autonomy to plan, execute, and see her strategies come to life. That combination of analytical thinking and true ownership was exactly what she was looking for.
Growth Through Ownership
After joining the marketing team, she focused on driving performance and strengthening internal processes. In September 2023, about a year into her journey at Red Dog Media, she was promoted to Marketing Team Lead. While hard at work in her new role, she also graduated with her Master’s degree in Business Analytics at the end of 2024. As she became increasingly involved in cross-functional initiatives and system improvements, her scope naturally expanded beyond marketing. In August 2025, she stepped into her current role as Product Manager.
One of the defining projects in her journey was building internal performance reporting systems. What started as a need for better visibility became a scalable solution that improved decision-making speed, cross-team alignment, and overall operational clarity. It wasn’t just about reporting; it was about building infrastructure that helps the business move faster and smarter.
What She Does Today
Today, her day-to-day revolves around reviewing marketing requests, prioritizing initiatives, and collaborating across departments to solve meaningful problems. She often describes her role as a translator and connector, turning ideas into structured plans, aligning stakeholders with diverse perspectives, and creating practical, scalable solutions that advance the bigger picture.
The People Behind the Growth
She appreciates our leadership team for genuinely caring about employees and fostering a culture built on trust, autonomy, and recognition. In particular, Gabe, her first manager and mentor, and Corey, her current manager, have had a significant impact on her journey through their leadership, strategic guidance, and willingness to trust her with increasing responsibility.
Looking Ahead
Reflecting on her changing roles, Han shares that each step forward has stretched her in the best way possible. With every new role, she’s expanded her skill set, grown beyond her original scope, and contributed more strategically to the business. Her belief is clear: ownership accelerates growth. The more responsibility you’re willing to take on, the more opportunities you create for yourself.
